What is Shadar?
Shadar is a fashion discovery app that connects buyers with local vendors in West Africa. Instead of scrolling through endless listings, you browse a curated visual feed or submit a photo of something you love — and nearby vendors respond with real offers.
How does Shadar work?
It’s simple: see something you love — in the app feed, on social media, or even on someone walking by — and submit a request. Nearby vendors who carry that item (or something similar) respond with their photos and prices. You compare offers, accept the one you like, and it’s delivered to your door.
Is Shadar free to use?
Yes, Shadar is completely free for buyers. There are no subscription fees, no hidden charges, and no cost to browse, discover, or submit requests. You only pay when you accept a vendor’s offer.
How do I get my items delivered?
Delivery is coordinated through trusted ride-hailing services like Yango, Bolt, or Uber. Once you accept a vendor’s offer, delivery is arranged so your item arrives at your door — no market runs needed.
What cities is Shadar available in?
Shadar is currently available in Accra, Kumasi (Ghana), Lagos, and Abuja (Nigeria). We’re expanding to more cities across West Africa soon — stay tuned!
Why are there no prices displayed?
Shadar uses an intent-driven model. Instead of listing fixed prices (which can lead to inflated tags and fake discounts), vendors respond to your specific request with real, personalized offers. This means every price you see is genuine and competitive.

How do I become a vendor on Shadar?
Getting started is easy — download the Shadar app from the App Store or Google Play and sign up as a vendor. Complete your profile, add photos of your inventory, and you’ll start receiving buyer requests in your area right away.
Does it cost anything to join as a vendor?
No. There are no listing fees, no monthly subscriptions, and no upfront costs to join Shadar as a vendor. You only engage when a real buyer request matches what you sell.
How do I receive buyer requests?
Buyer requests appear directly in your vendor dashboard within the app. When a buyer near you submits a request that matches your inventory, you’ll be notified so you can respond with your offer — including your own photos and pricing.
How does delivery work for vendors?
Delivery is coordinated via ride-hailing services such as Yango, Bolt, or Uber. Once a buyer accepts your offer, delivery is arranged through the platform so you can focus on your products, not logistics.
